Houston Student Shereditthe Pashia's Documentary Wins "Best in Category" in the Indie Short Film Competition

Shereditthe Pashia from Houston, TX and other Pace University students can now add "film competition winner" to their resumes. Pashia's documentary won "Best in Category" for a documentary in the 2010 Indie Short Film Competition.

Pashia, majoring in Communications at Pace University, helped write, direct, film, and produce the half-hour documentary titled: "The Life of an American Ambassador: The Netherlands" that follows the life of Fay Hartog-Levin, the American Ambassador to Holland.

As part the course "Producing the Documentary," over the 2010 Spring Break, the students were given full access the Embassy and the Ambassador's residence in Holland. They documented her daily life from following her to meetings, public speeches, and public relations events.
